Position: Cashier at Petaluma Market
Part-Time Hours: 16-24 hours per week, 4-8 hour shifts ranging from 7AM - 9PM
Full-Time Hours: 40 hours per week, 8 hour shifts ranging from 7AM – 9PM

Full-Time schedule will be 40 hours a week, may be required to work additional hours as dictated by the work load and staffing, must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Part-Time schedule will be 16-24 hours a week, may be required to work additional hours as dictated by the work load and staffing, must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Cashiers must assist customers waiting for check out by scanning items, requesting price checks, honoring appropriate coupons, collecting payment and giving change as appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Associate must be reliable and honest.

- Associate must possess integrity and professionalism in their position.

- Strong communication skills.

- Ability to read and write English at an 8th grade level.

- Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.

Preferred Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or Equivalent (or still pursuing education)

- Prior experience not necessary but is a plus.

- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Physical Demands:

- Requires moderate physical efforts. Standing, carrying, bending, stretching, stooping, pulling and pushing, lifting of weights up to 30 pounds.

Starting wage: $20 / hour (wage negotiable with experience)
